One of the Capitol City’s favorite neighborhood taverns, Rebellion DC, a veteran-owned and operated restaurant, is proud to announce their new partnership American Freedom Fund, a non-profit organization that empowers veterans through its mission of athletics, education and advocacy, and veteran-owned Heroes Vodka.
Rebellion will now serve as the official home of the AFF Patriots and will be hosting its R.E.D. Friday Socials each month where area Veterans and allies can come together to build an inclusive community while supporting AFF’s national programs and events. On Friday, February 15th from 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm, Rebellion will host its R.E.D. Friday Social kick-off event for AFF members, supporters and allies, officially launching their new partnership, with special guests from Spirit Equestrian. Proceeds raised will support AFF Patriots athletic programs and the George H.W. Bush Congressional Fellowship program.
Each month AFF and Rebellion will invite a different area non-profit that supports veterans as guests of its R.E.D. Friday Socials to build a stronger and more inclusive Veteran community, further embodying the sentiment that no Veteran is ever alone.

The mission of American Freedom Fund is to empower Veterans through our athletic, educational, and advocacy programs in Washington, D.C. and across America. AFF empowers Active Duty, Reserve and Separated Service Members through its mission with a simple goal: provide a place for active duty and Veteran service members to come together in a spirit of camaraderie to participate in recreational AND competitive sports; to afford the means and opportunity for student Veterans who seek a career in defense or public policy to achieve the next step in their goals; and to raise awareness and financial support for Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs) that are providing crucial resources for Veterans in the community.
