Chris Kyle Frog Foundation, TEAM ADDO and Maryland Chapter of American Gold Star Mothers are American Freedom Fund 2018 Veteran Service Organization (VSO) Heroes

The Chris Kyle Frog Foundation (CKFF) and TEAM ADDO are honored to announce their selection, along with the Maryland Chapter of Gold Star Mothers, as the 2018 American Freedom Fund Veteran Service Organization (VSO) Heroes. The three organizations will be honored at one of the most popular holiday parties in the Washington social scene today, the Manhattans, Martinis and Mistletoe (M3) Veterans Awards un-Gala.

Donald R. Bramer, Co-Founder & Executive Director of American Freedom Fund, and a combat veteran, founded the M3 event “to honor and celebrate our nation’s veteran community, as well as to recognize, honor and support nonprofit organizations working every day- and making a positive impact every day- to support and serve those who have sacrificed and served our nation. The M3 event is an opportunity to celebrate the dedication and service of fellow veteran nonprofit organizations, as well as corporate sponsors and the countless Congressional leaders from both sides of the aisle who step up to support this event.”

Taya Kyle, wife of American Sniper Chris Kyle, and the Founder and Executive Director of the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation, said, “We are truly honored and humbled to have the CKFF team recognized for the positive impact we are making in the service community. Because of AFF, our foundation will not only continue to survive, but thrive.”

James Boggs, a Marine and Army veteran with 20 years of active duty service to our nation, and the Founder and CEO of TEAM ADDO said, “I am thrilled that TEAM ADDO’s mission focus of inspiring others to achieve their fullest potential, and our focus on serving veterans and children in need, has been recognized, and my team and I look forward to continuing to inspire people across the nation in 2019 and beyond.”

This year’s event will be emceed by Army Veteran, philanthropist and host of Rant Nation, Graham Allen, and will feature celebrity guests and co-hosts from the veteran and entertainment community. About American Freedom Fund

American Freedom Fund (AFF), 501(c)(19), was founded in 2016 by three combat Veterans, LT Don Bramer, MAJ Rob Miller, and Petty Officer Gabe Stecker. After their individual tours of duty, they sought a way to continue serving their brothers and sisters in arms by providing the Veteran community the opportunity and the means to maintain the fellowship and the support of the military as they transition towards their next career. AFF empowers Active Duty, Reserve and Separated Service Members through a mission of athletics, education, and advocacy. The goal of AFF is simple: provide a place for active duty and Veteran service members to come together in a spirit of camaraderie to participate in recreational AND competitive sports; to afford the means and opportunity for student Veterans who seek a career in defense or public policy to achieve the next step in their goals; and to raise awareness and financial support for Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs) that are providing crucial resources for Veterans in the community. Each year, AFF honors three outstanding VSOs for dedication and support to the Veteran community with an award at the annual Manhattans, Martinis and Mistletoe gala in Washington, DC. This event also provides AFF the opportunity to offer monetary support to other VSOs in need as they work towards their mission of empowering the Veteran community.
