American Freedom Fund (AFF) is honored to announce they have been awarded a $25,000 grant from the Disabled Veterans National Foundation. This funding will fuel AFF’s Athletics, Education, and Advocacy programs, all designed and executed to empower military service members and Veterans to live their best lives possible by creating an inclusive supportive peer to peer community, a sense of purpose, and opportunities for education and career growth. These AFF programs provide community engagement, a sense of purpose, and career growth opportunities to Veterans and active duty military members, with a special focus on the modern warfighters who have recently returned from deployment.
The Disabled Veterans National Foundation’s Capacity Building Grant program provides grants to like-minded organizations who provide support to veterans and disabled veterans alike. The Capacity Building Grants provide support to our nation’s veterans and are awarded to organizations around the country who are addressing the mental and physical recovery of veterans.
Earlier this week, Don Bramer, Executive Director of American Freedom Fund, remarked, “The award of this grant means so much to me and the entire AFF family, as we’ve worked diligently over the past few years to ensure AFF programs are delivering meaningful and impactful services to address the needs of our nation’s men and women who serve, and have served, our great nation. This funding delivers the much needed fuel to help us achieve our plans to grow our mission programs and serve more American Patriots – the men and women who selflessly serve our country.”
