Veteran-owned Spirit Company Continues Commitment of Giving Back a Portion of Every Purchase
Heroes Vodka and American Freedom Fund (AFF) announced a partnership today to empower Veterans across America through athletic, educational, and advocacy programs. Heroes Vodka will provide an annual giveback to AFF for initiatives benefiting Veterans. The Heroes Vodka mission is to provide exceptional taste and superior value to consumers, while honoring Veterans and other American service organizations through charitable contributions. Since distribution began in 2012, Heroes Vodka has given back more than $80,000 to assistance programs for American Veterans, active duty military, and their families.
“Heroes Vodka is honored and excited to recognize American Freedom Fund as its Official Giveback Partner,” said Travis McVey, Marine Corps Veteran and Founder of Heroes Vodka. “AFF is a recognized and reputable organization that will help further the premise on which the brand was founded. Every purchase of Heroes Vodka helps make a difference in the lives of the brave men and women who have sacrificed for our country and our freedom.”
“AFF is extremely proud to have Heroes Vodka join its list of corporate partners,” said Donald R. Bramer, Navy Veteran and Executive Director of AFF. “As a longstanding member of the Veteran community, we’re committed to supporting not only veteran-owned businesses but also programs that assist transitioning Veterans across the nation. The AFF family sees this opportunity to work with Heroes Vodka as a way to continue assisting the Veteran community at home.”
Beginning December 2018, Heroes Vodka will present a giveback check during the AFF’s annual Manhattans, Martinis and Mistletoe gala in Washington, DC. About American Freedom Fund
American Freedom Fund (AFF), 501(c)(19), was founded in 2016 by three combat veterans, LT Don Bramer, MAJ Rob Miller, and Petty Officer Gabe Stecker. After their individual tours of duty, they sought a way to continue serving their brothers and sisters in arms by providing the Veteran community the opportunity; the means to maintain the fellowship; and the support of the military as they transition towards their next career.
AFF empowers Active Duty, Reserve and Separated Service Members through a mission of athletics, education, and advocacy. The goal of AFF is simple: provide a place for active duty and Veteran service members to come together in a spirit of camaraderie to participate in recreational AND competitive sports; to afford the means and opportunity for student Veterans who seek a career in defense or public policy to achieve the next step in their goals; and to raise awareness and financial support for Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs) that are providing crucial resources for Veterans in the community.
Each year, AFF honors three outstanding VSOs for dedication and support to the Veteran community with an award at the annual Manhattans, Martinis and Mistletoe gala in Washington, DC. This event also provides AFF the opportunity to offer monetary support to other VSOs in need as they work towards their mission of empowering the Veteran community.
